GAINESVILLE | On Tuesday night, the Gators had what coach Mike White calls “Christmas-itis.”
Florida dunked and dominated en route to an 89-65 victory over Jacksonville University, improving to 8-3 on the season in the team’s first home game in three weeks.
But if you didn’t know any better, you would have thought the team had lost given the coach’s reaction.
“I wasn’t pleased with our physical, mental effort,” White said. “Defensively, I thought it was our worst defensive half of the year, just to be honest.”
